Our methodology has been developed, tried and tested over 33 years, resulting in over half a million students swimming beautifully and efficiently!
We pride ourselves on teaching correct stroke mechanics from within the water and never using buoyancy aids to produce confident and elegant swimmers.
Our coaches are highly experienced and passionate and will take each swimmer through structured lessons across seven levels whilst recognising and celebrating key achievements along the way.
We teach one student to one instructor, or two to one, in order to maximise focused teaching time, and to ensure rapid progress.
According to the British National Curriculum, children should be able to swim 25 metres by the time they are 11. Here at Swimming Nature, our average age to achieve this is 6!
We make learning this essential life skill fun; to create happy lifelong relationships with the water!
Everything is rooted in a unique and passionate teaching method.
Confidence in the water is contagious. Whether you are a baby, a child or an adult, you catch it from your teacher. That’s why all of ours hold ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) or STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) qualifications and have attended the Swimming Nature Foundation Course. Each has a recognized life-saving qualification that we update every 2 years, and has a CRB Enhanced Disclosure.
Also mandatory for us are teachers who understand children, love swimming and have pool-sized amounts of patience. The result: the relaxed environment your children will want to learn in every week.
